I am planning to visit Benito the end of July 2010. I would like to spend some time in your library to research geneological information of several family members who lived in the Swan Valley, specifically Benito in early 1900.

1) Do you have copies of the local newspaper from the early 19th century?
2) Is there information on early homesteads/farms in the area?
3) Vital statistics information (wedding, birth, death records) for persons living in Benito/Swan Valley from 1900 - 1925.
4) Community events of interest in this time frame.
5) Recruitment practises - WW1?

If this information is not available at your branch, would you kindly direct me to where they are archived.

Sincerely,
Merylee
